When Jamaluddin bin Subiat contracted an illness that resulted in his legs being amputated, he reached the lowest point in his life. Apart from losing his legs, he had to give up his job that enabled him to provide for his family. Little did he know that being an NTUC member will open doors to avenues of assistance that he can tap on during times of crises, and give him that helping hand he needed to get his life back on track. This is his story.
