Some 1,600 union leaders and tripartite partners came together to celebrate May Day on 1 May and reaffirmed our commitment to the LM 2015 vision of striving towards Better Jobs for All, Labour Movement for All and Tripartism for All. Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong delivered the keynote address at the Rally while NTUC President Diana Chia led in the reading of the May Day Resolution.

At this year's Budget Debate in Parliament, various Labour MPs came forward to talk about a wide segment of the workforce: low wage workers, PMEs, new job entrants, women workers and the self-employed. This Spotlight captures their voices.
With a better educated population and as Singapore moves towards a knowledge-based economy, more PMEs are joining the workforce today. As such, the NTUC PME Alignment Team is rolling out various initiatives and programmes to expand its outreach and advocacy to PMEs.
