Sensing graduating students’ growing pessimism during the 2009 economic downturn, Young NTUC organised an Opportunity Fair which attracted 800 students and featured over 6,000 opportunities through jobs, internships and research positions in both the public and private sectors.
The NTUC WDS’s Back2Work with U (B2W) Programme adopts the ‘Recruit, Re-adjust and Retain’ strategy to get more women back into the workforce, and increase the employment rate for economically inactive women who are considering coming back to work.
