NTUC launched U Portal to better serve and engage our members. U Portal represents the Labour Movement’s digital journey: enabling us to effectively communicate and engage with our members and the wider public through three integrated digital channels - web, social media and mobile. Apart from enhancing productivity for NTUC and the unions, moving away from ‘paper-based’ processes to online services has also led to greater operational efficiency and savings in resources. U Portal has also helped NTUC provide greater access and convenience in meeting the end-user needs of its members.
Who can register?
U Portal registration is for everyone - Union members and non-members alike.
As an NTUC member, do I automatically become a U Portal Member?
No, you will still need to register with U Portal.
How do I register?
Simply move your mouse over the “My U Portal” dropdown located on the top right hand corner of the site, and click 'Sign Up' located below the login.
Why do I need to provide my FIN / NRIC number during registration?
This is used only for authentication purposes to check if you are already an NTUC member. Existing U Members will have a shorter registration form to complete as certain details would already have been captured earlier.
I was previously holding a FIN number when I registered with U Portal. Now that I've become a Singapore PR / Singaporean, do I need to re-register with my new Singapore NRIC?
You can update your particulars on U Portal; re-registration is not necessary.
I've forgotten my password. How do I retrieve it?
Simply move your mouse over the “My U Portal” dropdown located on the top right hand corner of the site, and click 'Forget Password' located below the login. Indicate your NRIC to reset your password, and a new password will be sent to your registered email address.
Why can't I comment or rate?
Only signed-in U Portal members can comment and rate. If you have not registered or signed-in, please do so from the top right hand corner of the site.
